Stefani Water Purifiers, hand made in natural Terra Cotta are an ideal alternative to plastic counter-top purification systems. The purifier includes the starter 2-Sterilaqua filters, float valves and tap. The bottom chamber is coated in Silver Colloidal to inhibit bacteria growth. Stefani Pure Design designed for the daring spirit by Brazilian artist, Roberto Brazil is winner of the prestigious IF Design Award 2004 in Hanover, Germany. It is a welcome decorative but functional item for the modern kitchen. Available in Onyx/Silver and Natural/Black combinations. The base and top are made in lightweight plastic and the water purifier is Terra Cotta with the exterior painted in non-toxic latex paint for the black model. Pure Design is only available in one size 6L. The Terra Cotta Water purifier requires conditioning and may have a slight clay taste for up to 21 days. This is not harmful and occurs simply because the terracotta is very dry and unglazed. Emptying the purifier and completely refilling it each day during this initial period will ensure this taste disappears.
Warranty The water purifier units are guaranteed free from defects in material or workmanship for 12 months from the date of purchase. The guarantee exclude: Damage or defect caused by incorrect installation or assembly Physical breakage of the candle. Damage caused by incorrect use. Damage caused by lack of, or incorrect, cleaning or maintenance. Crumbling (for Terracotta Purifier).
