Internet sales are not specifically exempt from sales & use taxes. The appropriate Canadian federal taxes (based on the "ship to" location) will be added to your order. This dollar amount will appear on your ordering screen.

Residents of the following provinces and territories pay the Goods and Services Tax (GST) on the subtotal after shipping and handling: P.E.I., Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia, Yukon, North West Territories and Nunavut.

Residents of the following provinces pay the Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) on the subtotal: New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland.

LifeSpices as an Ontario based business is required to collect certain taxes on merchandise sold via the Internet or otherwise. For all Ontario Residents, the Provincial Sales Tax of 8% will be added to your purchase.

For all other jurisdictions, the purchaser of the merchandise is required individually to remit the tax to the taxing jurisdiction. All taxes and exemption are applicable based on existing tax legislation by province and Territories.
